In the final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, there are bound to be plenty of references to Jake's favourite movie series, Die Hard. This film franchise is an integral part of the show, as it's the basis for the protagonist's career and one of the properties discussed the most, and Bedelia played an integral role in it.

Aside from being the star behind Jake's sexual awakening, Bedelia is a strong performer with over four decades of experience in the industry. During that time, she has appeared in a fair few comedies, such as the series Parenthood and Sordid Lives. Therefore, there's no reason to believe that she wouldn't bring her A-game to this comedy show.

So much could be brought out of the dynamic between Bedelia and Jake Peralta, as his childhood crush on her would likely lead to some tremendous awkward tension and could even cause some conflict between him and Amy. It's a flawless opportunity for some great comedy and a pay-off for the time Amy dressed as her for their honeymoon.
