10 Alternative Breaking Bad Spin-Offs To Better Call Saul

5. Todd Alquist's Rise In The Criminal World

A chilling combination of sweet and soulless, Todd Alquist is the most mild-mannered Neo-Nazi associate you're ever likely to see on television. Despite possessing a sort of innocent curiosity with the world of methamphetamine production, Todd never appears to think twice about slaughtering anyone who poses a threat to the operation - teenage boys included. There's something about Todd Alquist that has a hint of Dexter Morgan about him - a mild-mannered monster who tricks everyone he meets into thinking that he's nothing more than a little boring on first glance. It's probably safe to say that Todd's Uncle Jack didn't teach him to speak so softly and politely, and it's interesting to speculate that Todd might have been raised in more innocent surroundings with his immediate family, before eventually opting to move into the criminal underworld with his Uncle. Todd is an undeniably strange character, and by extension this makes him a hugely intriguing selection for a spin-off show of his own. His attributes of immense loyalty and drive to impress must have come from somewhere. It'd be stirring to discover their origins.
