10 Amazing Horror TV Shows You Probably Missed

6. Channel Zero

Syfy

The SyFy Channel has had more than its fair share of underrated series. The Magicians, Z Nation, and Killjoys are just a few of the many shows on the network in the past decade that flew under the radar. However, the one that arguably had the most potential for longevity was the internet horror story based series 'Channel Zero'.

Each of the four seasons followed a different narrative inspired by internet horror stories from either Creepypastas or Reddit's NoSleep forum. The stories borrowed for the four seasons include: 'Candle Cove', 'The No End House', 'Search and Rescue', and 'Hidden Door'.

A huge part of what makes the series so effective is how well it expands upon the stories it uses. Most of the original stories are short, and so the show has to come up with some of its own lore, mostly in ways that are just plain terrifying.

There's literally a monster in the first season made out of human teeth. Somehow, it finds a way to go up on the creep scale as it progresses, which is saying something considering, well, the human teeth monster.

If this sounds up your alley, all four seasons of Channel Zero are currently streaming on Shudder. Just keep in mind, sleep won't come easy afterward.
