10 Amazing TV Shows You Won't Believe Only Had Two Seasons

5. Pushing Daisies

As with #10 on this list, here is more proof that Bryan Fuller is one of the more unfortunate showrunners in the business. Pushing Daisies, yet another one of Fuller's shows not to make it past its sophomore season, was in its own way just as weird as Dead Like Me or Wonderfalls, but it also possessed elements that could appeal to a wider audience. Despite its brightness, it didn't click with enough people and it was cut short (albeit with a solidly satisfying ending). Pushing Daisies follows a pie-maker named Ned who has the gift of bringing dead people back to life with his touch. This is just as much a curse as it is a gift though, because if Ned is to touch this person again, they die for good. Not only that, but if he is to keep them alive for more than one minute, then someone else must die in their place. It sounds like a wicked premise, but wicked in a sort of old-school Disney way, and like many of the Disney classics, it's as much a fairytale as anything else. Although each episode has its own contained case, at the heart of it all is the story of Ned and his true love, Chuck. Daisies was and is a well-rounded hour-long dramedy worthy of your time.
