Coming from a time when The Simpsons was still must see television, the Bond parody, 'You Only Move Twice' is one of those episodes that we all remember. Having received a cushy new job offer, Homer and the rest of the family ditch Springfield for Cypress Creek, where they meet Homers new boss Hank Scorpio. Though the rest of the family struggle to adapt to their new environment, Homer takes to it like a duck to water, excelling in his job and enjoying the company of Scorpio far more than he ever did that of Mr Burns. Throughout the episode and despite numerous conversations with Scorpio, Homer remains entirely oblivious to the fact that his boss is a super-villain. Scorpio is a perfectly pleasant guy - as long as you ignore the terrorism, which Homer pretty much does. Hank Scorpio is an excellent of example of a character that should remain a one-off; any more appearances would have run the joke into the ground, instead we are left with that endearing image of Hank and his flamethrower. There are plenty of Simpsons character that have appeared in far more episodes and had much less of an impact than Hank Scorpio.
A guy who is in too far to many geeky things then he would care to admit. A film, tv and gaming enthusiast he will maintain that Rocky III is an awesome movie until he draws his final breath. Embarrassing Fact- owns five different versions of Ocarina of Time
