7. Another Life
Another Life arrived on Netflix in 2019 will all the promise of being a new science fiction classic. Why? Well, because it had sci-fi legend Katee Sackhoff and a ton of incredible special effects at its disposal, of course!
While the show did have its moments, critics weren't too kind to a series that they felt relied too heavily on a sense of nostalgia from shows that just weren't it and, as a result, it lacked its own real substance. And yet, it clearly did something right because Netflix had enough faith in it to give it, well, another life.
Filming of the second season was expected to begin in March and conclude in June, but the Hollywood shut down made that impossible. And now, with things starting to regain a little bit of normality, Another Life is preparing to start shooting the second season in the summer, making a 2020 release highly unlikely.
