10 Awesome TV Characters Who Never Deserved Their Terrible Deaths

Starky People love their TV shows. As audiences, we're invested in the stories that unfold across our screens and the characters that grace us with their actions each week. In a way, these characters can be like our friends. Which is why we sometimes get really pissed off when our favorites check out early and get led down to the great beyond by the Grim Reaper. In other words, killed off. Now, sometimes these deaths can serve a greater purpose in the show's narrative. Whether it's prompting another character to take a course of action they wouldn't have normally done or shifting the status quo of the entire narrative, death can serve a useful way of keeping the viewers on their toes and making the story-lines go in new and unexpected directions. So even though we might be saddened when one of our favorites die, we realize it serves a higher purpose. Except sometimes the deaths don't fulfill that higher purpose. Sometimes their deaths serve no useful purpose other than shock value or change just for the hell of it. Other times we know that the character did have to die, but the way in which they were killed isn't reflective of the respect they earned. In other words, the way they were killed off just sucked. Sometimes, the show suffers as a result of these bad deaths, other times it'll continue on as if nothing had happened. I can guarantee, however, that for fans of those characters, the rage they feel for their fallen favorites holds no bounds. With that said, let's take a look at ten characters who never deserved to die the way they did.
