5. Andy And Ann (Parks and Recreation)
This first season coupling didn't make a lot of sense at the time, and now the show seemingly goes out of its way to not acknowledge that these two ever dated (let alone lived together). Ann Perkins is an attractive nurse who cares deeply for her friends, Andy is in a band called MouseRat. While Andy has recently blossomed in his beautiful marriage to April (wow, this show really loves couples with alliterative names) in the first season he wasn't the caring dimwit he is now. Along with breaking his leg after stupidly falling into the pit, Andy is initially shown to be selfish and kind of a jerk. This show got a lot better after a rocky start, and part of that was realizing that Andy and Ann did not belong together. It's hard to go back and watch early episodes when you realize that the characters are basically being beta-tested, and Andy and Ann needed to separate for the show to not be infuriating every week.
