8. Howard Hospitalises His Nemesis €“ Fresh Meat

In the Fresh Meat house, Howard is perhaps least likely to start a fight. He's geeky, unassuming, and doesn't care what people think of him. But that all changed when a fellow student took out the book that he wanted from the library. Rather than acting gracefully over the confusion, this student decided to taunt Howard. "You want to take this outside?" he asked, prompting Howard to reply, "Well, given there are no drinks permitted inside the library and I'm about to open up a can of whoop ass... I think we may have to." A scuffle later, Howard broke his enemy's wrist, before accompanying him to A&E; it was there that Howard realised he actually had a lot in common with the man he'd just injured, and that they should see the fact they both wanted the same book as a reason to be friends and not foes. Howard later seemed proud though to have ditched his geek status, if only for an episode. He's the only character who could still come across as cute after injuring someone, but judging by this storyline, you wouldn't want to mess with him.
