Now here's one you probably saw coming, but the Green Ranger (both good and bad variants) set the standard for how awesome a Power Ranger could be. There's a good reason Jason David Frank remains firmly stitched onto fan's hearts, and here fans have been given two (well, three really) reasons as to why that is. At first brought onto the scene as an evil disciple of Rita Repulsa, there is perhaps a little part of fans hearts that would have liked to have seen Tommy in his Green Ranger days remain a villain of the original Power Rangers. In such a role, Tommy set himself apart from the other Rangers by using Ranger powers, firmly associated with good, against them, thereby becoming one of the most popular characters from the original series.
