3. Tentacool & Tentacruel/The Tower Of Terror

The Tower of Terror - Pokémon: Indigo League - Season 1, Episode 23
Plot:
On route to Lavender Town, Ash and Co. encounter a Pokémon Tower in the fog. Misty and Brock are scared off by the tricks of the Tower's ghosts, leaving Ash and his band of Pokémon to explore the tower to catch a Ghost-Type.
Call For Cancellation:
Both episodes were temporary banned in the United States following the then-fresh events of 9/11. Tentacool & Tentacruel was put on the shelf due to its depictions of buildings being destroyed in particular a scene in which a Tentacruel levels a skyscraper (though, this scene is seen briefly in the show's opening sequence.) The Tower of Terror was not banned due to its content but rather its title that unintentionally draws minds towards the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers.
