10 Best 100th Episodes Of TV Shows Ever

2. Scrubs - My Way Home

To celebrate 100 episodes, you could do something that really reflects what your show is about. Alternatively, you could go all out and do a full-blown gimmick episode that parodies The Wizard of Oz.

Or, if you're Scrubs, you somehow manage to do both.

My Way Home is an oft-hilarious, occasionally poignant look at the work the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital do, incorporating the seriousness and dangers involved, and just how hard it can be, without forgetting to be a sitcom first of all.

The story finds Turk needing a heart, as he has to convince a family to turn off their son's life-support so a heart transplant can be undertaken; Elliott needs 'brains' in order to speak at a medical seminar; Carla needs the 'courage' to want a child; and J.D, who is, of course, wearing red shoes, just wants to go home after being called in on his day off.

The references are brilliant - from a yellow brick road on the floor to the classic songs being performed by The Worthless Peons, and even J.D. listening to Africa by... Toto - but above all, it's a great sense of occasion to honour the series and its characters.
