4. Bart Cries Wolf – Marge Gets A Job

Mr Burns
Fox.com

Like all badly behaved kids, Bart Simpson has faked an illness here and there to get out of school. However, during this Season 4 episode - which also sees Marge get a job at the power plant - this comes back to bite him. Literally.

Bart is forced to take his test outside in the hall after repeatedly complaining about "being ill". Unfortunately, he chose the wrong day to be outside, because he becomes the target of an escaped Alaskan timber wolf.

The story of how the wolf got to Bart is hilarious in of itself. The beast escaped from the Krusty The Clown show, after being spooked by their "secret word of the day", which was, ironically, the word "Loud".

This scene has some great gags, the best of which coming when Krusty is attacked by another animal on his show - a giant eagle. The eagle's handler says that the bird must think Krusty is after her eggs, to which Krusty replies "I only ate one!". Genius.

Anyway, nobody believes Bart when he says he's being attacked by a wolf (get it?) and it's up to Groundskeeper Willie to save him. The burly Scotsman is able to out-wrestle the wolf and save Bart from a mauling. Phew.
