9. Matt Albie & Danny Tripp
Show: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip Played by: Matthew Perry & Bradley Whitford Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, for my money, was a great ride while it lasted. A lot of folks think it was a failure because it didnt get a second season, but I think it wraps up perfectly. Matt Albie & Danny Tripp are the executive producers of Studio 60, a live sketch comedy show. Perry and Whitfords chemistry is undeniable (rooted from Perrys stint on The West Wing). Albie and Tripp needed one another. They both had romantic and professional ups and downs, but they were each others rocks. They cared deeply for one anotherlike when Albie stormed into the network executives office and accidentally outed Tripps drug test failure, Albie: Sorry about that. That one is on me. Tripp: Yeah. These two could say so much with very few words. Most of the time getting the message across with a Yeah or an Okay was all that was needed. Arguably the best part of Sorkins worst show is any moment these two share the screen.
Fun Fact: The sign in their office read Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like bananas, get it?
