8. Ainsley Hayes

Ainsley HayesShow: The West Wing Played by: Emily Procter One of the most memorable The West Wing peripheral characters is the southern, feisty, and adorable Ainsley Hayes. Hayes enters the show in the second season as woman who smacked down Rob Lowe€™s Sam Seaborn on the fictional political talk show €œCapital Beat€, which lead to President Bartlett hiring her. She is known for her sweet tooth (€œAre you going to eat that muffin?€) and love of Fresca (which the White House never had for her) and remembered for being a €œblonde Republican sex kitten€. It€™s hard not to laugh when she finally meets President Bartlett while she€™s dancing and drinking in a bathrobe to €œBlame it on the Bossa Nova€ in the White House cellar (aka her office). Fun Fact: Plays the trombone and is Harvard educated.

I'm currently getting my masters in Writing and Publishing in Chicago. I usually fill my time with marathoning great television. My favorite shows are The Sopranos, Mad Men, Six Feet Under, Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Wire, Lost, and so much more. Count on me to write mainly about television.
