9. A Less Than Honourable Fight - Arrow Season 6, Episode 20
Ricardo Diaz may not have been one of Oliver Queen's most skilled opponents, but he certainly was one of the most tenacious. This gave him an unsettling and intimidating presence that helped him stand out among Star City's very worst citizens.
He was initially pitted as an underling to Cayden James before becoming the sixth season’s Big Bad and every encounter he had with Team Arrow showcased Diaz’s unsettling edge and less than honorable sensibilities. The latter was best shown in a brawl between him and Oliver, one that would determine who would have influence over Star City itself.
The fight works due to its stripped down nature, featuring scaled back (but still brutal) choreography. Diaz was able to get a few good licks before Oliver overwhelmed him using his superior skill.
Ultimately, the crime lord won due to his lack of a moral code but this worked in Oliver's favour, as he was able to prove that Diaz was not one to be trusted nor held in high regard.
