WHAT?! Jessica Lange isn't the top spot of this list?! Well, no. She is amazing, yes and there's no denying that she was the best actress of the entire series at all. She made a name for herself long before American Horror Story hit our screens and she will, no doubt, be dominating whatever projects she has in the future (and one of those might just be American Horror Story season 6), because she is one feisty, crazy and downright amazing performer. Narrowing down her American Horror Story performances to just one would be downright sinful, because she was basically the star of every single season thus far, so you'll just have to pick your favourite and argue it out with other fans of the show. So, if you could pick her best performance, would you say it was Constance Langdon in Murder House, Sister Jude in Asylum, Fiona Goode in "Coven", and Elsa Mars in "Freak Show"? Personally, I loved me some Sister Jude.
