The 2017 reboot of Ducktales is exactly how you should do a reboot.

Starring Scrooge McDuck and the triplets Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Ducktales kept the charm of the original while updating it for modern audiences. The triplets now all have their own unique personalities and can easily be told apart from more than their color scheme, more unpopular characters like Webby were completely redone and turned into fan favorites, and references not just to the original show but the entirety of the Disney Afternoon block of shows are scattered all throughout the series.

With just three seasons under its belt, the show unfortunately ended in 2021, but all the good work the show did won't be forgotten. It introduced a ton of characters to the 21st century, and even debuted a few characters never seen before. If you loved Ducktales as a kid, you'll love Ducktales as an adult.
