10 Best Battlestar Galactica Moments

In the new Battlestar Galactica show, it seemed that the Galactica and its fleet of human refugees were all on their own in the void of space, until they made a fateful encounter with another Battlestar, the Pegasus.

At first, this seemed to be an amazing break for humanity, now the fleet had more protection from the Cylons than ever before, but as the Admiral took her spot as leader of the fleet and the crews of both Battlestars began to mingle more, it became quickly apparent that the Pegasus was extremely different from the Galactica.

The tension between the two warships reached an all-time high when it was discovered that the crew of the Pegasus had captured a Six model on their ship and had decided to torture and rape her. The same fate that almost befell the captured Cylon aboard the Galactica, who was being interrogated. Sharon Valeri was rescued by Helo and Tyrol while being interrogated by the Pegasus interrogator, who was in turn accidentally killed in the process.

After foregoing a trial, Helo and Tyrol were sentenced to be executed which caused the Galactica and the Pegasus to launch vipers in attack formations.

There is a brief moment where it truly seems the two ships were about to go to war possibly destroying humanity along with it. The Pegasus episode overall is fantastic but seeing two fleets of vipers aiming their guns at each other showing the Cylons to be almost right in their crusade for our annihilation is a fantastically tense scene.
