9. Daryl

Daryl Dixon is everyone's favourite redneck and considering that his character doesn't exist in the comics, it's easier for Norman Reedus to give the fans what they want because there aren't any high expectations for him to aim towards. But whatever he's doing, he's doing it right as fans are thoroughly invested in his character. Daryl looks a little (a lot) rougher than everyone else and even though he has access to hot showers and someone to cut his hair, he's still refusing to wash. And not one person is complaining about it. His black leather attire, crossbow and motorbike makes him the kind of boy that mothers warn their daughters about, and his unkempt facial hair just adds to his bad boy persona. Daryl has been sporting his moustache and goatee beard since the first season of The Walking Dead which may be symbolic of his consistency; although he has become a lot warmer to the other characters, he's still pretty much the same badass redneck that everyone fell in love with from the beginning.
