10 Best Brooklyn Nine-Nine Cold Opens

2. Hitchcock Upsets The Public

Being a police officer comes with a lot of baggage related to the profession, an issue the producers and writers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will have to confront in the next season. Hitchcock encountered this on his way to work one day when he stopped for coffee.

Coming in hot, Hitchcock was fired up about how he was treated in a local coffee shop. Everyone stopped talking. No one would make eye contact. He said that one woman even walked out of the store. It made him feel like less than a person, something he was very open about with his colleagues.

Jake was then kind enough to point out that Hitchcock's d!@k was hanging out, implying that this was most likely the reason people in the coffee shop were horrified to see him. Hitchcock found this to be a relief, though he still didn't put his little Hitchcock away.
