10 Best Characters From Michael Schur TV Shows

8. April Ludgate (Parks And Recreation)

Ron Swanson Leslie Knope
NBC

Then there's April Ludgate, another series regular and a polar opposite personality-wise to Donna. April starts as an intern and eventually takes the position of Ron Swanson's assistant to stay close to her love interest, Andy. She's a professional at brooding, hates most people and is incredibly sarcastic and witty.

April's most important campaign is against Jerry, the office punching bag, though the consistent abuse of Ann is also a good source of laughs. If it wasn't for Orin, she might be the darkest character on a Schur series.

Her reaction shots are highly meme-able simply because she conveys annoyance like no one else on TV. April's savage commentary on everything around her, combined with well-time looks into the camera and a fascination with the macabre, make her a special character.

She's what would happen if Wednesday Adams got an office job.
