As the title might suggest, plenty of people die in this show. However, that shouldn't come as much of a surprise seeing as the series focuses on high school kids battling against waves of the undead - if even Rick Grimes struggled, you know these kids will.

Picking just one death from this show is a tough ask, but one that really stood out - mostly for its unfairness - was the tragic demise of Han Geyong-su. This character was the loyal friend of Cheong-san and was a loveable character. He was loyal and supportive and always tried to make people laugh. However, thanks to his poor financial position, he was despised by the spoiled rich kid Lee Na-Yeong.

This hatred became all too real after she falsely claimed he was infected, causing him to be quarantined. Rather than admitting her fault, Na-Yeong decided to forcibly infect him with zombie blood from her handkerchief, causing him to turn. It was devastating to watch as he was the last person who deserved such cruel treatment.

For the record, Lee Cheong-san's death would have made it on this list. However, it's somewhat uncertain as to whether he fully perished in the explosion, so the door is open for a possible return in the future.
