10 Best Doctor Who Crossovers Ever

4. The Five Doctors

Doctor Who The Day Of The Doctor
BBC Studios

For Doctor Who's 20th anniversary, the BBC released a special feature-length episode called The Five Doctors. Richard Hurndall portrayed the 1st Doctor, Patrick Troughton, and John Pertwee came back to play the 2nd and 3rd Doctors, and Peter Davison played the 5th. Tom Baker appeared as the 4th, thanks to some footage shot previously.

When an unknown enemy uses a 'Time Scoop', the Doctor's first four incarnations are yanked from their respective time streams into the Death Zone on the Time Lord's homeworld of Gallifrey. In addition to the Doctors, Susan Foreman, Sarah Jane Smith, and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart all arrive, as do the Daleks, Cybermen, a Yeti, and a Raston Warrior Robot.

The Fifth Doctor sensed a disruption in his time stream, and he traveled to the Death Zone to find himself. The Doctors and their respective companions are forced to contend with the Master, the Daleks, the Cybermen, and more!

As they move closer and closer to the Tomb of the Rassilon, the secret of who brought them there, and why begins to unfold. All five Doctors and their companions will have to work together to uncover the mystery and save themselves from certain destruction at the hands of an unforeseen enemy.
