Doctor Who fans of all ages rejoiced earlier this month when LEGO confirmed that they'll finally be releasing a BBC licensed range based on the Time Lord's ongoing adventures. The decision came after the initial pitch recieved over 10,000 votes on the LEGO Ideas website and it's certainly been a long time in the making. Yes, the pieces are finally starting to come together and you're probably wondering why on Earth it's taken so long for a Doctor Who LEGO set to see the light of day. The show's legion of fans have been waiting long enough to get their hands on one and when they don't get their own way, they usually take matters into their own hands. It's how they roll.
