2. Arya And The Hound
Season 3 and Season 4 were the apex of Game of Thrones, yet Arya’s time with the Hound managed to stand out even amongst some of the most famous moments of the show.
Much of the entertainment this duo offered can be attributed to the performances of Maisie Williams and Rory McCann. Both actors captured the annoyance their character felt towards the other. A notable highlight of the pair’s dialogue was when Arya defended Syrio Forel whilst the Hound mocked her former tutor.
Ironically, despite being at constant loggerheads, this duo was highly effective when working together. Whilst journeying to the Eyrie, Arya and the Hound were more than capable of fighting their way out of dangerous situations.
The eighth season exemplified the ultimate respect and admiration this duo had for one another. Their reunion in the first episode was not particularly warm or affectionate, but their farewell scene in the penultimate episode certainly was.
