4. Battle Of The Bastards (Season 6, Episode 9)
The Ending: Ramsay Bolton is defeated. Sansa sees Ramsay (tied up to a chair in his hounds' kennel). Ramsay's hounds are let loose from kennels, and, having not eaten in seven days, turn on their master and devour him. Sansa watches coldly, before slowly walking away from the scene.
Why It's Great: The list of terrible things Ramsay has done is so long that even Joffrey would be baffled by it. Well, maybe not, but it says a lot about how awful (not to mention hated) a character is that their death is the highlight of an episode. And not just any episode, but an episode that has one of the greatest battle sequences you'll ever see.
Even with the titular battle, it was Ramsay's death at the hands (or rather, mouths) of his own hounds that sticks in the memory, because that's just how much fans wanted to see this character meet a gruesome fate.
