10 Best Minor Seinfeld Characters
9. Man In A Cape (Frank Costanza's Lawyer)
Whenever Larry David appeared on camera in Seinfeld it was always a moment to behold. So, when we saw Frank Costanza coming out of a store with a man wearing a cape, it raised more questions than we'd ever have the answers to.
Why is he in a cape? Why do we never learn his name? Why did he only appear once? All valid questions. Of course, we do find out his profession, he is a lawyer. Which only serves to ask more questions, such as, why does anybody go to a lawyer who wears a cape?
In truth, it is funnier that we never found out the answer to our questions because the sight of Larry David wearing a cape only got better with time, since he now has become an on-screen legend in his own right for appearing as himself in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
All we know about him is that not only was Frank Costanza consulting him when he was looking into getting a divorce but also that he saved the life of Noreen when she was preparing to throw herself off the Brooklyn Bridge, after Elaine had convinced her to break-up with multiple boyfriends because of their speech issues.
The man in a cape really was a hero.
