10 Best Minor Stargate SG-1 Characters

6. Cassandra (Multiple)

Stargate Thor
MGM

Cassandra was the only survivor of a planet that was wiped out by the sadistic Goa'uld Nirrti and was rescued by SG-1. She was, however, a trap. When they got her back to Earth, it turns out that there was a naqadah explosive inside her chest that would destroy Earth's Stargate. Fortunately, because Sam was unwilling to leave Cassandra to her fate, the bomb was deactivated and she was allowed to live a normal life with Dr. Janet Fraiser.

Years later, she would be forced to return to her homeworld when she began exhibiting strange mental abilities, which were also the results of Nirrti's genetic manipulative experiments. Cassandra only appeared a few times (played by Katie Stuart in her first few appearances and then by Colleen Rennison later, pictured), but she was a reminded of what they're out there fighting for. The only oversight for her character was that we didn't get to see her after the tragic death of Dr. Fraiser.

A much older version of Cassandra (played by Pamela Perry) appeared in a possible future due to a time travel mistake, implying that she'll be involved with the Stargate Project for the years ahead.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
