Given the reemergence and popularity of the zombie genre, it was inevitable that the undead would find themselves at the mercy of Parker and Stone."Night of the Living Homeless" simply replaces the zombies with homeless people who crave "change" instead of "brains".

Serving as a poignant message about the rise in numbers of unhoused people, as well as how society treats the problem: simply moving them around the country whilst regarding them as degenerates.

All the staples are included: the mad scientist performing sinister experiments on the homeless by chaining them up and watching them die. This results in a scene involving multiple, failing, suicide attempts. One unfortunate person slowly transforms into one of the homeless after losing his house and money. Randy is then forced to shoot him; a slight overreaction.

The big finale involves the boys adapting a bus, like in the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, to drive through and lure the unhoused people to California. It's all as sad and satirical as it is funny and gross, plus it's a good zombie thriller in its own right.

Alex Harvey hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
