10 Best Netflix Shows Cancelled After One Season
1. Teenage Bounty Hunters
Sitting at the highest Rotten Tomatoes rating on this list for a canned show, a 94% and 96% critic and audience score respectively still weren’t enough to get a second season off the ground for dramedy Teenage Bounty Hunters.
Teenagers are having a really rough time on this list, huh?
This one casts the spotlight on Blair and Sterling, 16-year-old twins who opt to make money as bounty hunters on the downlow. The show received massive amounts of praise for its genuine wit, fantastic performances, fresh take on young adult television, clever satirical turns, and oodles of charm. For a ludicrous premise, the show sticks the landing with every one of its ten episodes with much more grace, humour, and gusto than you’d expect. The relationships between the characters, particularly the central heroines, are a joy to watch unfold and evolve.
Sadly, all the rave reviews in the world couldn’t save the series from receiving the axe two months after its premiere date. All of these cancellations are a shame, but this particular one is certainly teetering closer to a crime.
