Winston's journey to becoming a police officer is a nice route for him to explore, but it all got off to a typically disastrous start as Jess accidentally purchased meth from a flea market at the same time Winston is going through a home-visit background check as part of the academy training.

The vast majority of the episode takes place within the apartment, with the cast entirely reliant on their everyday surroundings and own talent to put in some genuinely hilarious performances. It's the classic New Girl formula at its very finest.
