Back when he made his appearance in Parks & Rec, Andy Samberg wasn't as big a star as he is now, still, he was utterly hilarious as Park Ranger Carl.
From the use of the electric buggies and the revelation that the once they were using was the only one left running and had previously been covered in Moose urine, to the volume at which he spoke, Carl was just so memorable.
He treated Jerry like an idiot, even though he was clearly an idiot himself, and when Tom was forced to run alongside the buggy because of the weight limit on it, Carl didn't take it easy. He drove at full speed and repeatedly told Tom to keep up.
Perhaps the quote that best sums up Park Ranger Carl is that he wanted the criminals to know that, 'He never got tired.. and ladies too'.
Samberg is an SNL icon and friend of Amy Poehler which explains his appearance on the show, it is just a shame that he never came back for another because his always smiling and exaggerated dumb expression were a delight to see.
