10 Best Performances In Better Call Saul

Taken on the value of her Better Call Saul appearances alone, Francesca Liddy is a pleasant, if unremarkable, ancillary character. Jimmy and Kim’s erstwhile secretary, she’s bubbly and competent, a fun presence around the office. But Breaking Bad viewers have seen a different side to her - a future in which she is bitter, grifting, and willing to get involved in the criminal enterprises of her employer, some of which we see in a Better Call Saul flash forward.

Tina Parker is tasked with sowing the seeds of this future in her recurring role in the prequel show. She is hired by Jimmy as an idealistic, eager to please addition to the nascent firm, but that enthusiasm manifests as a certain moral flexibility.

Parker gets the chance to return to her Breaking Bad-era character in a season four cold open, where we see Jimmy in his Albuquerque endgame, preparing to skip town. By now she has made the full transformation to the cynical, money grubbing character we first met.

She plays both sides of the character perfectly, and the only thing we as viewers are missing is the transformation process - hopefully that’s still to come.
