9. The Pit Of Ultimate Darkness

Being evil doesn't have to be difficult but Simon and Hecubus sure do make it look that way. As the hosts of The Pit of Ultimate Darkness, the duo delighted in showing viewers everything evil in the world. Not that Simon was particularly good at that, either.

Sir Simon Milligan, played by McDonald, was the host of the series of sketches. He did most of the talking, frequently yelling "Evil!" in a kind of shrill voice when something he perceived as vaguely evil was said or referenced. Foley played Hecubus, his man-servant and key detractor. The main purpose Hecubus seemed to serve was annoying, if not openly mocking, his master, a term Hecubus used with more than a little sarcasm.

Simon's overall incompetence at being evil combined with Hecubus constantly undermining him made these two fan favorite characters who will hopefully make a return in new episodes.
