5. Scary Terry
Scary Terry's role in the show was like some kind of cross between Jesse Pinkman and Freddy Krueger. He was a dream hunting, fist of knives wielding, bitch spouting connaisseur that looked a lot like a knock-off Krueger, only in animated form.
Rick & Morty eventually befriend him and they travel back up the layers of a dream, thanks Inception, to make sure Morty gets an A in maths.
However, it isn't Scary Terry's appearance that makes his role so great, it's the fact that we see him with a wife and child that he loves which is hilarious. He is an upended parody of any classic American family sitcom once he arrives home, his normal relationship is one of the weirdest things you're likely to see in Rick & Morty, and plenty of things are totally off the wall in every episode.
Rick and Morty's encounter with Terry is nuts from the start, and then when they go into his dream to witness that he is an insecure creature with real feelings, whilst dogs take over the world back in reality, is the icing on the cake.
