Alongside the famous American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy has created a variety of different shows, including some of his well-known cast that he has previously worked with.

American Crime Story first aired in 2016 and still continues today, following the same anthology style as his original show AHS. The narratives in each season depict a variety of true story crimes, most famously the first season The People vs O.J Simpson, a look at the crime and justice system during the prosecution of one of the most well known trails and 1997 book The Run for his life: The People vs O.J Simpson.

Sarah Paulson plays O.J's lead prosecutor Marcia Clark, who failed to persuade a jury that O.J was guilty of the murders in 1994-1995. She produced a memoir of her version of the events two years later after being so traumatised by what she went through that she kept silent and out of the public light thereafter.

Marcia came to the case to show herself as a female role model, yet was discriminated, sexualised and put down by the media and the public, which Paulson plays with delicate accuracy for the real figure and the case in hand.
