10 Best Sarah Paulson TV Shows

Before her time as the iconic Horror Story characters, Paulson was already acting in the world of spooks and scares. She starred in CBS show American Gothic from 1995-1996, a supernatural drama series following a town in South Carolina, ruled by their demonic sheriff and the chilling past he has bought on the families that live there. The concept was created by teen star Shaun Cassidy and Spiderman producer Sam Raimi.

Paulson is murdered in the first episode of the show, that's not to say she does not play a crucial part as she appears as the character Merlyn's ghost, sister to the protagonist who now finds himself fighting for his freedom after the sheriff claims ownership as a father to him.

There are a range of spooky parts within the show, even from it's aged release and has since been re-vamped in 2016 with a different set of mysteries to unfold. The actress plays a prominent part in the original show that has since led her on to scarier stuff after being discovered for her talent in acting scared and being the scary.
