Starring the legendary John Lithgow and a very young Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 3rd Rock From The Sun was a sitcom which ran in the US in the late 1990s, and shows the adventures of aliens posing as a human family to learn about our society.
It was an incredibly successful show with a six-season run and nearly 140 episodes, following the Solomon family and their integration into Earth's society. Over the course of its run, it was a major award-winner, including five Primetime Emmy Award wins from eight nominations. It was also known for featuring some big names in minor roles and cameos, including John Cleese as an evil alien and William Shatner as the Solomons' boss.
