10 Best Sons Of Anarchy Deaths

On the Devil's path, until you die.

As a show about a renegade, criminal motorcycle club, Sons of Anarchy showed its fair share of death and destruction. The titular gang made their living on the outside of the law, and with that often came the need to shed the blood of those that would stand against them.

Throughout the series, we saw just about every member of the club commit murder, so much so that it became second nature to them. These were men who professionally smuggled guns, and hung their mugshots on the wall as a point of pride after all.

The murdering didn't end with the Sons either. With plenty of other gangs in Northern California, the ATF, a drug cartel, and a certain fiercely protective mother figure, there was death at every corner. However, though we came to expect this, there were still a handful of death scenes that were powerful enough to shock the audience.

Whether this was due to the particular character, the unexpected nature of the death, or the sheer brutality of it (or often a mix of all three,) there were some truly stunning death scenes that stood out in a show that featured too many to count.

10. August Marks & Charlie Barosky

August Marks and Charlie Barosky were two very different people throughout their time in Sons of Anarchy. The former was an 'associate' of the MC that could have destroyed them at any time, and the latter was a corrupt cop who allowed the club to operate in Stockton, but was willing to sell them out to anyone if he could make more money from it.

Their deaths, however, both came as part of Jax Teller's mini spree in the final ever episode of the show, and were both as satisfying as each other.

Not only did August pose a threat to the Sons with his position of power, he was the one who shot Bobby, and Charlie was the one who sold out the club to Henry Lin, escalating the war between them and resulting in the death of Orlin West.

Both needed to die, but knowing what his own endgame was, Jax no longer needed any intricate plans to deal with two of the final obstacles between him and his path out of Charming. He simply waited for August to be released from prison and shot him in the chest, and immediately found Barosky and shot him in the head. Both deaths came within minutes of each other, and were both as satisfying as each other.
