10 Best South Park Characters Only In One Episode
5. Bradley
Bradley is another character who doesn't bring a lot to the table regarding his personality or look, but acts as a brilliant way of developing the subject matter. The heart-breaking reality of the episode Cartman Sucks is founded in truth, and Bradley is the audiences eye into that tragedy.
In this episode, Butters is sent to a gay conversion camp due to a misunderstanding with his parents. The centre is presented with an upbeat look, but crushing honesty as there are multiple occasions depicting the suicide of these young children.
Bradley is Butters' roommate at this awful place, and he is a very disturbed young boy, as the indoctrination of the ideals of the camp has taken a toll on him. The two boys get on incredibly well - who wouldn't get along with Butters? - and soon Bradley realises he has feelings for his new friend.
This sweet moment is then ruined as Bradley becomes distraught and attempts to throw himself off a bridge. Although the entire episode is played for laughs, it is still rather powerful, and the character of Bradley perfectly captures the tragic tone of the subject matter.
