10 Best South Park Episodes 

Christmas specials are an inevitable part of a TV show's lifetime. There is so much value in making an outing based around the holiday, and South Park has always obliged. However, unlike other shows, South Park openly mocks the holiday's hallmark qualities and has subverted the Christmas special format on many occasions. Of all of their special holiday episodes, Woodland Critter Christmas is by far the best.

The story follows Stan as he uncovers an adorable group of woodland animals preparing for the birth of their lord and saviour. Stan completes several tasks upon their request, in order to help them deliver the Christmas miracle. However, this nativity story has a huge twist that completely throws the episode in a new direction.

Huge spoiler incoming. After finding out that the Woodland critters are actually Satanists, Stan must work to make sure that they don't go through with their ritual, as it will deliver the Anti-Christ unto the world. This complete subversion of the nativity story completely throws you off, and shifts the episode from a sweet flick to a straight-up horror.

This twist, coupled with the overt mocking of Christmas traditions - like crappy songs and forced cheer - make this a special you won't soon forget.
