10 Best Star Wars Rebels Episodes

A Princess on Lothal is mostly remembered as "the Leia episode," but it's so much more than that. Ezra returns to Lothal for the first time since Season 1, and learns of his parents' death at the hands of the Empire. He spends the episode in mourning, as it becomes clear that we won't be seeing as much of the happy-go-lucky child Ezra from Season 1 from here on out.

Of course, Leia's appearance helps make the episode great. She's as cool as she was in the Original Trilogy, and has great chemistry with every member of the Ghost Crew - especially Ezra. The pair bond over what it's like to be so young in the middle of a rebellion, and help share each other's responsibilities.

Plus, the episode features Kanan slicing off the legs of an AT-AT with his lightsaber, which is one of the coolest uses of a lightsaber to date.
