8. Jon Snow & Samwell Tarly - Game Of Thrones
Westeros is hardly a place to forge long-lasting friendships, is it? In a world where characters who survive more than one season are practically considered elders, short and practical companionships are often the way to go.
However, if there is any pair of people in all of the Seven Kingdoms that could claim to have a proper bromance, then it's definitely Jon and Sam. Having met in the freezing cold of The Wall way back in the first season, their bond has defied odds and defied death (literally came back from the dead that one time) to last throughout the entire eight seasons.
That alone should be enough to put it on the list of top TV bromances, but if we add to that all the challenges they have faced and overcome together and how dependable they were for each other, then there is absolutely no doubt.
Even though it might have started as a lopsided thing, with Jon mostly being the one looking out after Sam, the future Grand Maester more than repaid it in the latter part of the series. Jon has a lot to be grateful to Samwell about, as does entire Westeros, if we're being honest.
