10 Biggest Arrowverse Moments Of 2016

By far, the biggest event to hit the Arrowverse this year was the massive Invasion crossover. This event was the first time that the four shows (Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow) in the Arrowverse shared a common story.

The Invasion began when Barry found a crashed spaceship and briefly saw the crew. Seeking help from the Legends, Supergirl, and Green Arrow, he brought together a team to combat the new intergalactic menace. After a series of events that included the team being brainwashed to attack Barry and Oliver and Team Arrow sharing a dream, they were finally able to defeat the aliens and save the planet.

This crossover was a big deal because it brought together characters that fans never thought would meet and it introduced aliens to Earth 1. It also included the very touching 100th episode of Arrow. The shared dream in the episode showed Oliver what his life could have been and allowed him (and the fans) to say goodbye to those he had lost.

When the alien menace had passed, and everyone was ready to return home, Kara was given a device that allows her to travel between Earths and make it easier for her to crossover again. This huge event also opened the doors for more events and left excited fans with several questions. Is there a Krypton in the Earth 1 Universe? Will Speedy rejoin Team Arrow? Can Barry be trusted?

All of those questions beget one more: What will Greg Berlanti do next year to top this?
