8. I'm Rex Tyler
In several Arrowverse season finales, the last moments include a shocking twist that will get fans excited about the next season. For Legends of Tomorrow, that twist came in the form of Rex Tyler (aka Hourman) giving the team a dire warning about future events and introducing himself as a member of the Justice Society of America.
During the first season, the team had discovered several DC favorites such as Jonah Hex and Connor Hawke. With the promise of the JSA to appear in the second season, fans could not wait until the October premier. Needless to say, the Justice Society did not disappoint.
Featuring fan favorites such as Hourman, Doctor Mid-Nite, Obsidian, and Stargirl, the fall premier showcased the WWII era team as they proceeded to make short work of the Legends. Following the fight, the two teams joined forces and attempted to take down Damien Darhk. At the end of the episode, Eobard Thawne made a surprise appearance and killed Rex Tyler, prompting Vixen to sneak aboard the Waverider (suspecting that it was Heatwave that killed him).
With Rex Tyler being killed before he could warn the Legends, it will be interesting to see how he and his teammates will further affect the timeline and the Arrowverse.
