First of all, Jack Gleeson, take a bow. He officially retired from acting after his role as Joffrey came to an end, but he'll always be remembered for playing one of the most loathsome little in TV history. Like, Joffrey was HATED, but that doesn't mean he wasn't an amazing character. The psychopathic hidden child of incest got slapped onto the Iron Throne and the results were horrifying. Gleeson nails the book character and even improves on Martin's original work with snide smirks and facial expressions that would only look pleasant if an arrow sprouted between his eyes. He was given an equally distressing death, not that anybody could hear it due to the chorus of cheers emanating from households worldwide. Once again, well done to Gleeson for a remarkable character.
