Rarely has a public figure, so universally loved, become so unequivocally loathed as "America's Dad" Bill Cosby. Who didn't love Bill Cosby? He was one of the few really funny, clean comics. He gave inspirational lectures, had a "no-nonsense" approach to societal issues, and was one of the most quotable men of his time. Funny how all of that quickly becomes overshadowed when the world finds out you spent decades drugging women and molesting their unconscious bodies. Yes, the sweater-clad do-gooder of The Cosby Show was called out onstage in October 2014 by comedian Hannibal Buress. Buress hilariously told the audience "Google 'Cosby rape'" and that it "has more results than 'Hannibal Buress'". What was so shocking about this revelation was finding out that Cosby rape allegations had been happening for decades, and it was just never brought to public attention. While the Buress comments were made in lat 2014, it was this year that the Cosby scandal picked up its biggest head of steam. As of the writing of this article, more than 50 women have come forward claiming that Cosby has sexually assaulted them. The whole scandalous affair has cost Dr. Picture Pages a Netflix special, a new sitcom and all of his honorary degrees. He is likely to lose his 2002 Presidential Medal of Freedom as well. The only honor he now holds is being the worst of the worst of the despised for 2015. Congratulations Bill.
