10 Biggest TV Show Blunders Ever

Big Brother was the first live TV show ever created, and it is legally never allowed to end. Unfortunately, this blunder almost put a stop to the show entirely, when an online live feed may have revealed this entire thing to be a long-running hoax.

Way back in 2016, an episode of Celebrity Big Brother ended with all the contestants saying good night to each other, Waltons-style, then curling up in their little beds and nodding off. It was the perfect ending.

Almost... TOO perfect.

Fans watching the livestream were shocked by what they saw next: the lights came back on, and everyone got out of bed and congratulated each other on a "great take".

We then heard Big Brother speak to the contestants in a decidedly less authoritative tone than usual:

"This is Big Brother. So housemates... tomorrow is a really, really big day for all of you. It's going to start quite early and it's going to end very late at night, so what Big Brother would suggest is that you all brush your teeth, get whatever washing your bodies you need to get done, have whatever last cigarettes you want to have, and then call it a night relatively quickly."

Channel 5 attempted to explain this away with a vague statement they released to press, but the damage was done. The veil of dreams had been lifted, and the artificial reality lay bare for all to see.
