True Blood wasn’t afraid to get a little crazy when it came to sex scenes, even by HBO’s almost non-existent, pretty-much-anything-goes standards.

The peak, if that’s really the right way to describe what happens, came in season 3 when Bill is reunited in the present day with his maker Lorena. She being the total psychopath who had refused to give up on loving Bill, while he despised her and even tried to kill himself to be free from her.

Naturally, then, this reunion leads to some extremely angry hate-sex, during which Bill - very slowly - twists Lorena’s head 180 degrees, which she is happy to go along with. You could almost hear the jaws dropping across the world.
